Hi everyone, it’s Alfie here. I just wanted to say a big sorry for the lack of updates on Washy Witness lately. Things have been a bit slower than usual behind the scenes, and I know many of you check in regularly to stay updated on local stories, history, and community news.

We’ve not forgotten about the site or our readers — life has just gotten in the way a little, but we’re getting back on track. I’m currently working on new posts and updates that I hope you’ll enjoy, and we’ll be picking up the pace again very soon.

I also want to let you know that we’ll be saying goodbye to Washy Witness in August of this year. I simply made this site for fun, not expecting it to grow or gain much attention — but to my surprise, it did. Seeing so many people engage with it has meant a lot, and I’m incredibly grateful.

That said, the site won’t disappear. While we’ll no longer be actively updating it after August, Washy Witness will remain online on Google Sites, just without a custom domain. You’ll still be able to access all the content at the new address here:
